Terms & Conditions of Award Entry:

The Innovate Awards 2023 is organised by NHS Confederation of Smith Street, London, SW1P 3HZ and the AHSN Network, represented by KSS AHSN, at Amelia House, Worthing, BN11 1RL. The award organisers will hereby be referenced as the ‘organising panel’.

General Information

  • The Innovate Awards is open to publicly funded bodies and partners of publicly funded bodies, working in and around health and social care. The awards will recognise work carried out between 1 January 2022 and 1 April 2023.
     
  • All entries must be submitted through the awards entry portal website (LINK), hereby described as the entry portal.
     
  • Entries will not be accepted via email or other channels.
     
  • By entering the awards, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions of ‘Award Entry’; the ‘Award Criteria’ and the ‘FAQ’.
     
  • By entering the Innovate Awards, all award and category entrants have agreed to allow the details of their entry to be shared with the judges and representatives of the organising panel. All entrants will be deemed to have consented to the transfer and sharing of their personal, company and project data and information for the purpose of administration and judging of the awards and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
     
  • Entries received after the submission deadline will not be accepted.
     
  • The awards are free to enter.
     
  • Upon written request, entries may be withdrawn by the entrant prior to June 1, 2023.
     
  • The entrant or the employer represented by the entrant, must have worked or be directly associated with the organisation, project or solution featured in the entry.
  • Entrants may enter multiple award categories, however all submitted entries must be tailored to each individual category.
     
  • Entries must not exceed the word count, as ascribed by the word limits on the entry portal.
     
  • All category finalists will be notified via-email approximately 6 weeks prior to the awards. Shortlisted finalists will also be listed on the awards website.
     
  • Award winners will be announced during the awards ceremony and gala dinner taking place in De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, 61 - 65 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5DA on 21 September 2023. Under no circumstances will the details of winners be disclosed prior to the event. 
  • The Innovate Awards will be judged by a panel of volunteer independent judges.
     
  • The judges’ decision will be final and no explanation, correspondence or discussion will be offered or entered into before or following the judges’ decision.
     
  • Should no entries of a winning standard be submitted into a category, the judges reserve the right to award no winners.
     
  • The organising panel accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with entering or attending the awards.
     
  • The organising panel reserves the right to alter or reschedule the awards, the awards ceremony or the judging process, if required. 
     
  • During the award dinner, alcoholic beverages will be served for the enjoyment of attendees. The organising panel advise all award attendees to keep within the UK legal drink driving alcohol limits. All attendees accept full responsibility for their own actions.
     
  • All award entrants, winners, runners-up and finalists grant the organising panel the right to use and reproduce their name, trademark and company logo for pre-event, onsite and post-event marketing of the awards.
     
  • All winners, runners-up and finalists will be given the entitlement to display the appropriate award winner, runners-up and finalist logo on their websites and corporate marketing materials for their own promotion.
     
  • By agreeing to these terms and conditions, award entrants consent to their contact details being stored for the purposes of promoting this and future awards.
